January 30 After returning to the U.S. from Boquillas with Chris in tow, we made our way to Big Bend Station on the west side of Big Bend. January 28 We left Stillwell’s store and RV spot and officially headed into Big Bend National Park. It was breathtaking. Better than we could have imagined. Truly stunning in every direction. January 26 We arrived at Sanderson RV Park — an unmanned park with a handwritten sign that simply says, “Pay the piggie.” That felt like the perfect introduction to West Texas. January 23 We woke up to an overcast sky and said goodbye to MoRanch, heading south toward Del Rio. We pulled into Holiday Trav-L RV Park and settled in for the night. Tues 21stBeautiful day. Bethan went on solo bike excursion. Pina coladas and curly fries for cocktail hour. Took kids down to the river rapids. Had spaghetti and meat sauce. Wed 22ndOvercast day. Rearranged plans because of winter storm and decided to leave a day early from Mo. Went into town and bought Meagan a bike and an extra propane tank.

Beautiful day. First real road school and site away. Chicken tortilla soup for dinner. Pepper fell in love with chasing cats up trees. One broken tv and bow. Spilt all the eggs through rv steps.
